The new Castellon Airport Aeropuerto de Castellon
Castellon airport opened on 25th March and is now waiting for permits to allow planes to land. Flights are expected to start late summer 2011.
The newly completed CV-13 link road means that Castellon Airport is only a 15 minute drive from Alcossebre.
It is believed that the new airport will be served by the usual low cost airlines such as RyanAir and EasyJet.
